Ensure your organization has the structural integrity to support new technology and the adaptive leadership to thrive within it.
At Quantum Becoming, we believe that the next technological revolution isn’t just about the tools you buy—it’s about the organization you become.
Founded by Heather and Jason Broline, our firm was born from a shared mission: to help organizations navigate the high-stakes transition into the quantum and AI era with elite-level precision and human-centered care.
Our story is built on a unique overlap of technical architecture and adaptive leadership. While our backgrounds are distinct, they converge at the "digital edge"—the point where human wisdom meets advanced technology.
The Structural Backbone: Heather brings 20+ years of experience directing digital transformation for the most complex organizations on earth, including the US Air Force and major federal consulting practices. Her work ensures that the structural "how" of change—governance, enterprise architecture, and organizational rigor—is flawlessly executed.
The Human Engine: Jason’s expertise was forged as a USAF Pararescueman (PJ), leading no-fail missions where adaptability was the difference between life and death. He translates that elite resilience into Absorption Capacity, helping businesses build the cognitive and cultural flexibility needed to master disruptive technology.
Heather Broline is a Digital Transformation Executive who excels at bringing order, value, and human-centric strategy to extremely complex organizational shifts. With over 20 years of experience leading technical and cultural change at every level—from tactical implementation to high-level strategy—Heather specializes in ensuring that technology serves the people, not the other way around.
As a co-founder of Quantum Becoming, Heather helps organizations navigate the "quantum technological revolution" by bridging the gap between cutting-edge tech and practical adoption. She is a recognized technical authority on Organizational Change Management (OCM), having established the Air Force’s Enterprise OCM program to support 750,000 personnel. Her expertise is not just in the "what" of technology, but the "how" of making it stick within a company’s unique culture.
Expertise for the SMB Market: Heather brings the same rigor and "operational excellence" she used to manage multi-billion-dollar portfolios to the world of small and medium-sized businesses. She understands that for smaller firms, technological change isn't just a budget item—it’s a pivot that requires high absorption capacity and digital literacy. Her strengths include:
Human-Centered Change: Integrating UI/UX and human-centered design to ensure new software and AI tools are actually used by employees, reducing implementation failure rates.
Strategic Business Integration: Helping businesses through "tough" transitions, such as mergers, acquisitions, or pivots to new service models.
AI & Emerging Tech Readiness: Crafting responsible AI strategies and training pipelines that turn non-technical teams into tech-savvy contributors.
Heather is a Prosci Master Trainer and a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is currently completing her PhD at Colorado State University, where her research focuses on the integration of humans with advanced, persuasive, and artificial technologies. At Quantum Becoming, she partners with her husband, Jason, to provide a holistic approach to adaptive leadership, ensuring that as technology evolves, your organization becomes more than just efficient—it becomes future-proof.
Jason Broline is a Future-Based Adaptive Leader who specializes in the intersection of human performance, organizational learning, and technology adoption. With over 15 years of experience directing complex efforts toward measurable results, Jason serves as the primary strategist for adaptive leadership and absorption capacity at Quantum Becoming.
Jason’s approach to leadership was forged in some of the most "volatile and uncertain" environments imaginable. As a former USAF Pararescueman (PJ), he led elite combat search and rescue missions, saving over 150 lives in high-risk scenarios where decisions changed dynamically by the second. This "no-fail" foundation allows him to coach executives on maintaining composure and making data-driven decisions during the most stressful organizational transitions.
Expertise for the SMB Market: Jason provides small and medium-sized businesses with the tools to not only survive technological disruption but to absorb and master it. He understands the unique constraints of smaller firms because he has been there—having co-founded and led a multi-million-dollar startup from its initial phase to a profitable enterprise. His strengths include:
Maximizing Absorption Capacity: Helping organizations recognize the value of new information and successfully integrate it into their daily operations.
Adaptive Learning Models: Designing learner-centered and AI-integrated training frameworks that ensure teams can rapidly upskill as technology evolves.
Sociotechnical Efficiency: Analyzing the "digital edge" where humans and technology interface to reduce friction and improve team performance.
Jason is currently a Doctoral Candidate (EdD) at Baylor University, where his research focuses on maximizing the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence within organizational learning frameworks to optimize human performance. He is a Prosci Master Trainer, a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
A decorated leader, Jason is a recipient of the MacKay Trophy for the National Mission of the Year and the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery. At Quantum Becoming, he partners with Heather to ensure that as your company adopts the technology of the future, your leadership and culture remain its greatest competitive advantages.
What sets Quantum Becoming apart is not just our professional expertise with hundreds of change and learning initiatives, but our relentless pursuit of cutting edge research on human and advanced information technology integration. We don't just consult; we provide a dual-engine approach to transformation:
Advanced AI Research: Steeped in doctoral research (PhD and EdD) on the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence and human performance. This allows us to provide clients with "futures-based" strategies grounded in the latest science of human-AI teaming.
Certified Master Change Practitioners: Our team brings certified change leaders, Project Management Professionals (PMP), Scrum Masters, and SAFe agilists.. This means every digital roadmap we build is paired with a proven, disciplined change management strategy to ensure technology is adopted, not just installed.
Small Business Roots: Beyond our global-scale federal work, we have lived the "small business" experience, having co-founded and scaled a multi-million-dollar startup. We understand the resource constraints of SMBs and design our solutions to be lean, scalable, and high-impact.
